sQuid eMoney is available in Aberdeen on your NEC Accord Card
The Accord Card, part of the National Entitlement Card programme in Scotland, is Aberdeen City Council’s smartcard scheme, which provides access to a variety of local and national services such as Access to Leisure, Young Scot, School Meals in Secondary Schools, Free Bus Travel and much more. The Accord Card team is always looking for new and exciting benefits so other services may be added in the future.

sQuid on your Accord Card is cash on your card. You can now use sQuid eMoney to pay for those everyday things such as going to the gym at the Beach Leisure Centre, lunch or coffee at Provost Skene’s House Cellar Café, borrowing video games at the Central Library and much much more…..
How do I get sQuid added to my Accord Card?
Newly issued Accord Cards
From 9th August 2010 sQuid is included on all newly issued Accord Cards for cardholders who wish to use sQuid. Look for the sQuid logo on your Accord Card.
I haven’t got sQuid on my Accord Card
If your Accord Card was issued prior to 9th August 2010 you can have sQuid added at one of the Customer Access Points. You can find Customer Access Points at the following locations in Aberdeen:
- The Point, Broad Street, AB10 1BX
- Kincorth Customer Access Point, Provost Watt Drive, AB12 5NA
- Mastrick Customer Access Point, Spey Road, AB16 6SH
- Woodside Customer Access Point, Marquis Road, AB24 2QY
How do I get an Accord Card?
I haven't got an Accord Card and would like one
The Accord Card is Aberdeen City Council’s smartcard scheme and is available to all residents of Aberdeen. To find out more about the Accord Card and how to apply for one visit accordaberdeen.co.uk.
If you are a pupil at one of the councils twelve secondary schools you can apply for an Accord Card by contacting your school office.
Create a sQuid account and register your Accord Card
Register your card to protect your balance, view transactions and top-up online
Now that you have sQuid on your Accord Card you may want to protect your balance. There are a number of reasons why you should register your Accord Card with sQuid.
