Cabins and suites
Some cabins have a floor area of 13 m² (including the bathroom) but the majority measure 15 m², not large for a hotel but typical for ships of this size. The eight suites have a floor area of approximately 31 m², and two of them have quite sizeable terraces. All but a few of the cabins we are using are on the outside and most have large windows (none opens; only the suites with terraces have openings to the outside).
The layout makes good use of space and the decoration is restrained and restful with attractive lighting. All cabins have conventional beds (not bunks), chairs, tables and generous storage including wardrobes, shelving and cabinets. Adjustable air conditioning, television, telephone, minibar, safe, full-length mirrors and bathrobes are standard features. Bathrooms are equipped with showers (there are no baths), hairdryers and shaver sockets.
There are no single cabins as such but we are setting aside a significant number for single occupancy. There is a supplement for these. Cabins are spread over five decks connected by two staircases and lifts.

CATEGORY A. Exterior suite on deck 4 with private terrace with seating; portholes and picture windows; 31m²; twin beds separated or pushed together; sitting area with sofa and armchairs; larger bathroom than categories D–J.
CATEGORY B. Exterior suite on decks 4 or 5 with two picture windows; 31m²; twin beds separated or pushed together; sitting area with sofa and armchairs; larger bathroom than categories D–J.
CATEGORY C. Exterior suite on deck 2 with large circular windows; 31m²; twin beds separated or pushed together; sitting area with sofa and armchairs; larger bathroom than categories D–J.
Cabin categories
CATEGORY D. Exterior cabin on decks 4 or 5 with picture window; 15m²; twin beds separated or pushed together.
CATEGORY E. Exterior cabin on deck 3 with picture window or on deck 4 with two portholes; 15m²; twin beds separated or pushed together.
CATEGORY F. Exterior cabin on deck 2 with one large circular window (c.110 cm diameter) or on deck 3 with two portholes; 15m²; twin beds separated or pushed together.
CATEGORY G. Exterior cabin on deck 4; picture window with view obstructed by lifeboats; 13m²; twin beds separated.
CATEGORY H. Exterior cabin with two portholes on decks 1 or 2; 15m²; twin beds separated or pushed together.
CATEGORY J. Interior cabin (so no windows) on decks 4 or 5; 13m²; twin beds separated.
